I would like to see more interviews like this in the future. It's important to share your knowledge and opinions on how to improve and increase software freedom.

We still have ignorance in this side and we need to work on it and not to compromise it whatsoever.

I can't say that I have taken a hard stance on using free software exclusively. Of course, I would love to see the ideal realized of free software being used by everyone and for everything, but that world still seems pretty far away. I think we'll need to see a free hardware movement in conjunction with free software in order to get there.

It's good seeing RMS in a back and forth discussion for a change. Multiple lectures covering the same topic tend to get boring after a few rounds. RMS should do more of this.

Side note: I had to enable Google's captcha script in order to sign up and comment on this talk, which is a little ironic considering the topic of discussion. Surely archive.org could be running an alternative.
